Resources and best practice from the Genesee Valley School Library System LTG project on building digital confidence for elem/middle teachers through analog games, toys, and other travelling toolkits. Build computational thinking awareness and get every teacher #CS4All ready using this unique analog-first approach covering video game design, media production, 3D printing, robotics and more.Participants will leave this session with resource lists and best practices based on the Genesee Valley School Library System's LTG project: - Understand why we have taken an analog-first approach to digital professional development as a way to build teacher confidence and comfort with tools. - Articulate the definition of computational thinking and reasons for focusing on the underlying skills rather than on coding particulars in lower grades. - Be able to replicate the project with resource lists, kit designs, and curriculum documents.Elementary Teacher/Staff,Middle Teacher/Staff,Librarian/Media Specialist,Administrative,Staff Development Coordinators,Technology Integration Coordinator
