Learn to hone the super powers that will enable you to avoid the kryptonite as you lead your district through a 1:1 initiative and create an Instructional League of Leaders and Learners. The Lake George Central School District leads with the intention of creating and cultivating a community of learners. Using the powers of Reflection and Evaluation, we hold true to our weLearn vision and guiding principles, while adjusting the strategies, tools and practices used to achieve student goals. The Lake George implementation of weLearn, 1:1 initiative, is one of constant growth and reflection at all levels resulting in constant leading and learning. The workshop will follow the WISER Model of Inquiry to answer the essential question...How have the Lake George weLearn Vision and guiding principles resulted in a successful 1:1 implementation? Through the WISER Model of Inquiry we will define our weLearn initiative, outline what success means to us, describe our path, and share our vision and guiding principles. This interactive workshop will provide participants with instructional strategies and tools that can be immediately utilized for leading and learning.1. Structures for building shared goals and capacity to support and grow them. 2. Strategies and practical examples for supporting the 4C’s, New Literacies and Digital Citizenship through the WISER Model of Inquiry. 3.
