Coding with Kano Kits in the Elementary Classroom

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Imagine a class of 2nd graders putting together their own computers and coding a version of Snake or Pong. This is an engaging reality with Kano Kits. Thanks to the Raspberry Pi, students are able to easily put together their own computers and are introduced to the world of coding. Participates will explore the Kano Kits and be given realistic applications for the elementary classroom. Participates will learn how to easily expose younger students to coding using the Kano Kits. Participates will be able to identify different ways the kits can be introduced into their classroom. Participates will be given first hand information on how the kits have been piloted in a one district.
