Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Protecting privacy and student data in the digital age has become a primary concern for parents, schools and educators. With over 300 new state laws created over the past three years, schools are ground zero for student privacy issues. To aid this effort, COSN has created a mark of distinction for school systems, the Trusted Learning Environment Seal. The TLE Seal signals that the school system has taken measurable steps to assure the digital privacy of student data.1)Participants will learn what the TLE Seal is and why it was created. 2)Participants will learn how to apply for the TLE Seal and its value to school districts. 3)Participants will learn the resources available to help schools earn the TLE seal.
