Every Superhero needs a cool lair that helps them get the job done. This workshop will review some of the research on learning spaces and how you can apply them in your school. The learning we want to see happen in today's classroom can not be done in rows. Participants will get to see one district's journey toward rethinking their learning spaces, the pitfalls they encountered, and the successes they had in building an environment suitable for today's learner.-Explore research on learning spaces -See examples of innovative spaces -Provide ideas and protocols for thinking about learning space redesign Elementary Teacher/Staff, Middle Teacher/Staff, Secondary Teacher/Staff, Librarian/Media Specialist,Administrative,Technology Integration Coordinator
