3D Printing, Learning Design and Active Learning

This presentation will illustrate 3D Printing Learning Program with easy /application across different platforms and cloud-based design learning support portal is used to systematically promote design-based learning across different core subject areas and foster, project-based, STEAM-themed, active learning environment and processes. Attendees will get a quick view of the program including the application tool, cloud-based design learning support portal with standards-aligned lesson plans and ideas, online design evaluation and grading tools, and video-based, self-directed professional learning resources. More importantly, teachers will learn how to use 3D printing as an entry point to engage in standards-aligned and skill-oriented teaching, introduce design-based, active learning environment and processes and brain-storm how they can create learning opportunities for students to attain the 21st century learning skills through the specifically designed processes where teachers can provide guidance and shape behaviors in action.
