2016 Annual NYSCATE Conference

The Chrome Browser and Chromebooks are taking education by storm. This workshop will give educators practical ideas for customizing their Chrome interface to: access lessons, apps, extensions, and content, change their theme for color coding and access; set up bookmarking settings, creating a start up page to get relevant information quickly, and set up teacher tested apps and extensions. Participants will walk away with their Chrome browser or Chromebook customized to meet their teacher productivity and learner goals to make their classroom practice more productive and engaging. Comparable ideas for students will also be shared.
