SUNAM7: Building a 3D Printed Prosthetic Hand Project

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Come Build a 3D Prosthetic Hand to be contributed to the Helping Hand Project for eNabling the Future. Two of the most powerful ways to engage students today is through the use of technology and hands-on, project-based learning. This project incorporates both with a strong STEAM component and has already been tested in a classroom that experience an amazing transformational learning. This project will be remembered forever by the students and innovative teachers who use this project to deliver the instruction that is required. We won't be presenting this information in a lecture, we will be allowing the participants to actually do the project and learn in the same way we believe teachers can effectively use these strategies to transform their classrooms. Presenters will have the pieces printed and attendees will help construct and test the working hand. The hands we create will be donated for use locally, or to the eNable Helping Hands project.
