Please join VMware in an open discussion regarding approaches to help districts simplify and accelerate the delivery of Project Lead the Way and other instructional content to students via VMware’s end user computing solutions. The goal is to improve the accessibility of instructional content to students that would in turn positively impact academic outcomes. This requires the development of a delivery platform that includes single secure sign on, mobile device management, application and desktop virtualization. Mike and Tom have experience working directly with districts that leverage this platform to deliver these benefits including:
- Reducing the overall complexity associated with delivering applications and desktops to students thus decreasing the time to provision new applications to students which increases
- Delivering a mobile and customized desktops and applications to deliver PLTW content to mobile devices in response to BYOD or districts investment (i.e. Chromebooks, iPads, other tablets and devices)
- Deliver PLTW content and engage students that are not on campus due to illness, disciplinary reasons, etc.
- Simplify access to resources for early childhood centers allowing you to deliver a true point, click and go solution to your youngest students
- Achieve digital equality by enhancing the experience of the district's disadvantaged students by giving them equal access to resources regardless of device type
- Consolidate on a platform for content deliver and mobile device management that will increase overall operational efficiency
- Provide district the ability to extend the educational experience outside of the traditional class day and beyond the brick and mortar facilities without increasing associated operating expenses.
