Emilee Hillman has recently joined the School Library System of Genesee Valley Educational Partnership as a Library Technologies Specialist. Prior to this, she spent 10 years as a Media Coordinator at Balls Creek Elementary School located in the foothills of North Carolina. She brings a wealth of hands-on knowledge to the department with her experience of establishing a school STEAM Lab, a library Makerspace and many other library programs to facilitate student learning. Emilee is spearheading the Learning Technologies GAME Tech Grant with the goal of introducing computational thinking through various Makerspace technologies.
