Virginia Bond is entering her 35th year in education and began her teaching career as a music educator, then transitioned to technology teacher at the beginning of the 21st century. While teaching in a district bordering the Canadian border, she served the school on the IST/RTi team, was data coordinator and provided teacher and student technology training. Since May of 2015, Virginia has been an ISS Integration of Technology Training Specialist with NERIC, which serves 135 school districts on the northeastern edge of NYS. Virginia is an ISTE Certified Educator, Google Certified Trainer, Microsoft Innovative Educator, tech integrator and supports multiple software products. In September 2020 she was named Trainer of the Month for North America by Google. Virginia has offered trainings and workshops at various Google Summits and Camps throughout NYS, presented at EdChange Global 2020, four i-Ready Regional User Summits and at NYSCATE since 2016.
